Who Qualifies To Get A Bursary Or Student Loan From NSFAS?
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application process.
Applications at the moment are open and will shut on 15 December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant should meet the subsequent criteria:
• Be a South African citizen or copyright who arises from a home with a combined gross home income that does not exceed R350 000 per annum.
• Individuals with disabilities qualify if their combined house money will not exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients immediately qualify for funding and wish not post any evidence of earnings.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to all South African 2025 nsfas application citizens and permanent citizens from households with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for every annum.
Applicants are reminded to deliver the nsfas login right Identification Document numbers, names, and surname, as mirrored inside their South African ID.
NSFAS only funds people who are learning or plan to research in a general public university or TVET college in South Africa.
All students who wish here to study in any of the public universities and TVET colleges should apply timeously and not to wait until the last day.
